Three ways to study with Bintang
Each programme is designed with a different household in mind. Take your time reading through them.
After-Hours Money Study
Six-Week Evening Group
A six-week evening study group held on Tuesday evenings for working professionals in their forties and fifties. Each session covers one subject — household ledger, CPF, insurance, investments, retirement income, and the arc of giving and legacy.
- Maximum ten participants per group
- Printed reader provided before each session
- Private forum open between meetings
Singapore Wealth Literacy Course
Eight-Week Course
An eight-week course for adults aged forty and above, covering CPF top-ups under the RSTU, the Supplementary Retirement Scheme, unit trusts and index funds, Singapore Savings Bonds, and foreign-currency considerations for households with regional ties.
- Taught by a former private banking professional
- Educational, not advisory in nature
- Singapore-specific financial landscape
The Lantern Track
Six-Session Bespoke Programme
Six private sessions held in a quiet seminar room over roughly three months, tailored to households whose situation does not fit a standard group — an inheritance, a business interest, an approaching retirement, or the wish to include a spouse or adult child.
- Long opening session to understand your household
- Written materials prepared between sessions
- Final summary document provided
◉ Why Bintang
What sets our approach apart
Experienced Instruction
Our lead instructor spent over twenty years in private banking across the region, working directly with household wealth at every scale.
Education, Not Sales
No products are sold during any programme. The goal is understanding. What you do with that understanding is entirely your decision.
Small, Attentive Groups
Evening groups are capped at ten people. There is space for questions, for side conversations, and for returning to a point that needs more time.
Singapore Context
All programmes are built around Singapore's specific structures — CPF, SRS, SSBs, MAS regulations — rather than adapted from foreign curricula.
Designed Around Your Hours
Programmes run in the evening, outside office hours, so that working adults can attend without disrupting their professional commitments.
Written Materials to Keep
Every participant receives printed readers and reference materials. The learning does not end when the session does.

A good time to take stock
If you have been putting off thinking carefully about your household finances, an evening group or a private session may be the right first step. There is no pressure and no obligation.
